Anwar Ibrahim Guilty

Chief Justice Tun Arifin Zakaria says in his judgment that Saiful Bukhari Azlan, who had accused Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim of sodomising him, is a credible witness.

"We find PW1 (Saiful) to be a credible witness," said Arifin.

He went on to say: "We find ample corroborative evidence to support Saiful's testimony." He added that the trial judge had also found ample corroborative evidence that he was sodomised.

Are Najib & Rosmah GOING TOO FAR in their sodomy vendetta against Anwar?

Written by Iskandar Dzulkarnain
Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim’s Sodomy Case appeal is coming up for hearing on Oct28th. With the Federal Court dismissing Anwar Ibrahim's final application to disqualify Shafee Abdullah as deputy public prosecutor, it is highly likely that Anwar will not escape incarceration.

Earlier, a three-member Court of Appeal bench sentenced Anwar to five years' jail, but granted him a stay on the sentence pending his appeal to the Federal Court.

Kajang by-election: Polling March 23, Nomination March 11

KUALA LUMPUR: The by-election for the Kajang state seat in Selangor will be held on March 23, while March 11 has been set for nominations, Election Commission chairman Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof said today.

The by-election, the third since the 2013 general election was triggered by the resignation of PKR assemblyman Lee Chin Cheh on January 27.

Like Anwar, Najib is ignorant about Sabah's autonomy - STAR

PUTATAN: The assurance by the Prime Minister that Sabah's autonomy is a non-issue because its provision is still intact "under the 20-Points of the Malaysia Agreement" is unacceptable because it misses the whole point about Sabah's autonomy, said State Reform Party (STAR).

STAR's State deputy chairman, Awang Ahmad Sah, who is contesting for the Putatan parliamentary constituency under the STAR's ticket, said in statement here that the Prime Minister seems to be as ignorant as PKR advisor Anwar Ibrahim on the matter of Sabah's autonomy.

Anwar plays political poker in Sabah

Sabah Pakatan Rakyat is yet to consolidate its list of
candidates as it toys with STAR and SAPP.
KUALA LUMPUR: With nominations just days away, speculations are rife that Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim is engaging Jeffrey Kitingan’s State Reform Party (STAR) in a 11th hour bid to find a solution to what promises to be a crippling election for Pakatan Rakyat if it remains adamant and uncompromising on Sabah seats.

Nomination is set for April 20 and by tomorrow all state Barisan Nasional component parties would have announced their list of candidates.

Anwar after Hindraf over Ministry of Orang Asal and Minority Affairs (Moama)

By Joe Fernandez

Is Jayathas of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR), allegedly Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim’s newly-recruited political mandore from Hindraf, trying to say the NGO should not be registered just because his boss doesn’t like it?

It appears to be so judging from his song-and-dance act on Sat at a press conference, for his 15 minutes of fame, on the subject.

Hindraf, or any organisation, has a right to be registered. It's the Registrar of Societies (ROS) which plays politics with registration, on the instructions of Umno, until the matter ends up in Court. Umno doesn't own the ROS.

Anwar’s hand in Lahad Datu isn’t credible theory!

By Joe Fernandez
There is quite a bit of material in the mainstream and alternative media hinting, suggesting and even accusing Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim as the arch villain behind the Lahad Datu intrusion and subsequent standoff.

As the various conspiracy theories go, this is the weakest of them all. We can only await the proposed Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) on Lahad Datu with bated breaths.

Anwar may have met Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) leader Nur Misuari in Jakarta and Manila, as reported by several sources including Malaysia Today. However, such meetings by themselves tell nothing. Both men were longtime friends. The MNLF Leader may have wanted to catch up with the Opposition Leader because he’s also the Prime Minister in Waiting.

Malays must avoid being a Broken People

By Joe Fernandez
If Malays want to avoid being a Broken People, they and others as well, should not get into rhetoric and polemics and the politics of disruption and distraction.

The media, in that sense, is doing a great disservice to the people. They should focus on helping make a difference for the better, not run back and forth between Mahathir Mohamad and Anwar Ibrahim to manufacture news. Every fart from Mahathir is in the news.

We should focus on what brings us together as a people.

A move in PKR to oust Anwar’s dynasty?

A former aide of PKR women chief Zuraida Kamaruddin had allegedly
written a letter to the PAS president, urging the latter to pressure
PKR president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail to step down.
PETALING JAYA: A handwritten letter published on Malaysia Today website yesterday suggests that there is a move in PKR to oust its supremo Anwar Ibrahim’s family before the general election.
Claiming to be PKR women chief Zuraida Kamaruddin’s former political secretary, Mohd Fareez Kamal Intidzam, 24, urged PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang to save the opposition pact from PKR president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail and its vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar.
Fareez alleged that Wan Azizah and Nurul wanted to destroy his career as he was “close” to Anwar.

Anti-Wan Azizah letter writer fears for his safety

Mohd Fareez Kamal Intidzam has lodged a police report
at the Dang Wangi police station yesterday, asking for
police protection for himself and his family against
those who are looking for him.
A former aide of PKR women chief Zuraida Kamaruddin is claiming that he is being “hunted down” by the party and its leaders after details of his letter which had called for the removal of PKR president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail had become public.
Mohd Fareez Kamal Intidzam, 24, now wants the police to provide him with security as he feels his safety is at stake.
“I am being hunted down by certain people who I think are either supporters or people acting on behalf of Wan Azizah.
“Since the details of my letter became public, they had even managed to track me down to the hotel in which I was staying,” he said in a statement today.

Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Pakatan leaders at the event.
KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has predicted that Pakatan Rakyat will win GE13 with a Parliamentary majority of more than 10 seats and control at least six of the nation’s 13 states in an interview with Bloomberg.

Pakatan will probably retain Penang, Selangor, Kelantan and Kedah states, Anwar said. It will also regain Perak, win Negeri Sembilan for the first time and make inroads in Johor, he said, Bloomberg reported.

Anwar Accused of Bible Burning

By Tuhun Tavakas
KOTA KINABALU- The latest hot gossip to erupt the coffee shop tables is that of PKR leader Datuk Sri Anwar Ibrahim burning the Holy Bible. The leakage spread from KDM servants inside JPM (Jabatan Perdana Menteri) that Datuk Sri Anwar once burnt the Holy Bible and has never atoned for this heinous act has enraged many a KDM voter. But checks on You-Tube however failed to find any evidence of Datuk Anwar Ibrahim actually burning the Holy Bible. This insensitive tactic to lure the KDM voters back to BN by JPM insiders just goes toi show to us how desperate a mere 9% Christian population the BN needs to hold on and remain in power. So far PKR and Datuk Anwar have not commented on this rumour.

Anwar should redeem himself in Sabah

By Joe Fernandez
It’s unlikely that Anwar had anything to do with the tainted electoral rolls in Sabah and with good reasons too. The modus operandi on the MyKad scam in Sabah, by all accounts, was in operation long before he became Umno Deputy President, Sabah Umno head and Deputy Prime Minister.

Indeed, it might even have begun shortly after Malaysia in 1963. The suspicion stems mainly from the number of people classified as Malays, not recognised as a Native Group, in Sabah.

Anwar before RCI will be High Noon

By Joe Fernandez
It can be safely assumed that the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) in Sabah will find it extremely difficult not to take up Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim’s publicly expressed willingness to appear before it. The RCI resumed this week after a short break.

The RCI must not give the impression to the public that they have been instructed by the Government to do everything possible not to allow anyone to embarrass former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad during its proceedings.

Mahathir behind Project IC, says Anwar

The opposition leader points his fingers at former
prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamed instead.
PETALING JAYA: Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim today reiterated his stance that he had nothing to do with the citizenship-for-votes granted to Sabah immigrants in the 1990s.
Instead, he accused former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad of being responsible for the task force allegedly responsible for the citizenships granted to the immigrants.
He also claimed that the exercise was ongoing and suggested that the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) haul up Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak and former premier Abdullah Ahmad Badawi as well.

‘Tell RCI the truth, Anwar’

Sabah Umno liaison deputy chief Salleh Said Keruak
challenges Anwar to shed some light on the illegal
immigrants issue in Sabah.
KOTA BELUD: Sabah Umno liaison deputy chief Salleh Said Keruak has challenged opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim to tell the truth about the illegal immigrants to the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) tasked with looking into the long-standing problem in the state.
He said that Anwar was duty-bound to do so as he was deputy prime minister at that particular period, adding that “he was a powerful man and knew what was going on in Sabah”.
“Don’t be a hypocrite, perharps with the inside knowledge, Anwar can help shed some light… so tell the truth to RCI. He must not play politics. At least Najib Tun Razak, our Prime Minister, is prepared to seek the truth and approved the formation of RCI to identify the roots of the problem.

Jeffrey: Tell RCI the truth, Anwar

The Sabah strongman says Anwar, being the second most
powerful leader in Umno then, could not have been
ignorant of what was happening in Sabah.
PETALING JAYA: Sabah’s veteran politician Jeffrey Kitingan today expressed hope that Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim would “tell the truth” if he ends up testifying in the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) probing the “Project IC” in Sabah.
“I am glad he has said that he has no problem in testifying in the RCI probing into citizenship granted to immigrants in Sabah.
“However I do hope he would tell the truth about his own role in the citizenship fiasco,” Jeffrey told FMT today.

SAPP: Tell us what’s our worth, Anwar

The capability of local Sabah party SAPP, which has
been in seat negotiations with Pakatan Rakyat Sabah
since 2009, has suddenly come under question.
KOTA KINABALU: Opposition Sabah Progressive People’s Party (SAPP) has thrown the ball back at Pakatan Rakyat over its demand for seats and wants to know what the coalition thinks the party is worth.
“If [Opposition Leader] Anwar Ibrahim said SAPP is contesting too many seats, and questions its strength, it is very simple: just tell me how many we should contest in state and or parliament?
“If they [Pakatan] think it is not agreeable to them… tell us how many they think we should contest in state and Parliament.
“I believe people expect Anwar [to give an answer],” said SAPP president Yong Teck Lee.
